Jonny, why did she leave me? that was so much fun!
Dunddle Sleeping on his back.
Come on Libble, play with me!
On Thursday October 22, Grandma, Jonathan, and I arrived home from Costco, to find luggage on our porch, and Aunt Libbie on our lawn! She came down to surprise Grandma, and have a short visit. Libbie says that when she got here, no one was home. She tried to get a hold of someone in the family, but no one answered; Surprise, surprise, the joke was on her! Poor Libbie had to spend about an hour waiting in our yard. We had a nice neighbor who was out walking his dog; he decided he needed to keep her company for a while, so she had someone to talk to for a bit. It’s lucky we got home when we did, because it usually takes us a very long time to shop at Costco. I’m glad Aunt Libbie didn’t have to wait too much longer.
It was fun having her here. We went out to eat a few times, Libbie and Grandma got to work on some family history and stuff. All n’ all we just got to spend some quality time together. While Auntie Libbie was here, Dunddle (the dog) fell in love with her! He got so much attention, playing and loving. She was trying to fix my comforter one day, and Dunddle thought it was great fun. He would not leave it alone! He kept pushing His ball under it, then getting it out again. Later on that night, he decided he needed to lay on it to sleep. We all laughed because he thought it was all just for him and soon enough, he was out like a light. He stayed there all night!
Libbie stayed for four days. Ever since she left, the poor dog looks longingly at the front door awaiting her return. If Jonny weren’t here to pick up the play in her absence, I am certain Dunddle may die of a broken heart. :(
